What’s covered

Homes and landlords

One unwanted item or a whole property.

We do the lifting

The heavy lifting and loading are on us.

Reuse and recycling

Wherever practical, suitable items go to reuse, recycling and recovery rather than simply being thrown away.

Getting ready for a house clearance

  1. Start with what you’re keeping. Sort things into keep, donate and remove before anyone arrives, and clearly mark anything that’s staying.
  2. Set aside valuables and sentimental items. Keep them somewhere safe, away from anything that’s going.
  3. Look where things get tucked away. Drawers, wardrobes, under beds, inside storage boxes and behind furniture.
  4. Let us know about anything hazardous. It helps to know before the team arrives.
  5. Keep the way out clear. Driveways, doors and pathways, plus safe access to the loft or garage.
  6. Have one last look round. Make sure nothing important is left behind.

What to ask before you book any clearance

Whoever you use, ask what exactly is included in the price, what they’ll take, and what happens to it afterwards. Then check they’ve covered every area of the job, including the loft, garage and garden.

The boring but important bit

We’re insured

We’ve got commercial van insurance, public liability and goods in transit cover.

We’re licensed to take your waste

We’re registered with the Environment Agency. Anyone taking your rubbish should be, so ask for their number and check it on the public register. Ours included.

Scrap metal too

We hold a scrap metal dealer licence with the local council.
