What counts as a bulky item?
Sofas, fridges and freezers, wardrobes, washing machines, beds and mattresses: the awkward stuff that was never going in the back of a car. If you’re not sure, just ask.
Before we collect
- Empty it. Clear out cupboards, drawers and appliances, and check nothing personal is left inside.
- Clear the way out. Keep doors, pathways and access around larger items clear.
- Tell us where it is. Which floor, whether there’s a lift, and where a van can stop.

We’re insured
We’ve got commercial van insurance, public liability and goods in transit cover.
We’re licensed to take your waste
We’re registered with the Environment Agency. Anyone taking your rubbish should be, so ask for their number and check it on the public register. Ours included.
Scrap metal too
We hold a scrap metal dealer licence with the local council.
