How to get ready for a long distance move
- Decide what’s going. Go through the loft, garage and shed while you sort. On a long distance move, going back for something is a long way.
- Mark what’s staying. Clearly label anything that isn’t coming.
- Measure the big pieces. Check sofas, wardrobes and beds against the stairs and doors at both ends.
- Empty wardrobes and drawers. Furniture travels lighter and safer empty.
- Tell us the access at both ends. Floors, lifts, stairs and where a van can stop, at the old address and the new one.

We’ve got commercial van insurance, public liability and goods in transit cover.
We’re licensed to take your waste
We’re registered with the Environment Agency. Anyone taking your rubbish should be, so ask for their number and check it on the public register. Ours included.
Scrap metal too
We hold a scrap metal dealer licence with the local council.
